Building Cell Atlas,
Empowering Cellular Medicine
构建细胞图谱、赋能细胞医疗

The human body is a complex system guided by the basic program coded in the human genome. Cells are the basic structural and functional unit of the system where the codes are implemented. Understanding the characteristics and behaviors of cells are essential for understanding life and diseases. Single-cell genomics and other single-cell omics technologies are opening a new era of life science, an era of quantitatively profiling all major molecular features of all cells and understanding their relationships, led by the global efforts for building the Human Cell Atlas. The efforts will provide fundamental references for all future studies on human body especially cellular medicine for complex diseases. The first China Symposium on Single-Cell Genomics on May 25, 2019 in Tsinghua University will bring together world leaders in the Human Cell Atlas initiative, top scientists on single-cell biology in China and technological leaders in the industry to share latest progress in the field and their future visions.

Date: May 25, Saturday, 2019
Venue: International Convention Center, Tsinghua Science Park, Beijing
